Overview: The Collegiate Funding's College Calculator is a free service designed to help parents and students plan for college. This program will calculate your family's EFC (Expected Family Contribution), estimate the amount of funding you will need to pay for college (varies with cost of specific school(s)), and help you determine how to cover the remaining financial need (eg. savings, loans, scholarships). This service does not represent an affilitation with any government agency or college financial aid office. Your information is not retained for any purpose whatsoever. This does not supercede your requirement to submit a FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) and/or any other forms required by your college financial aid office. We utilitize the Federal Methodology formula used by the government and school financial aid administrators when awarding federal aid. While our formula approximates your financial aid eligibility, there is no assurance that the numbers will replicate figures calculated by the federal processor. The estimate for most families is within 1% of the official figures.
